Data Storage

MelodyForge is designed with your privacy in mind. All your compositions, chord progressions, melodies, and practice progress are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB.

We do not:

• Store your data on our servers
• Require user accounts or login
• Track your personal information
• Share your data with third parties

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand general usage patterns (page views, session duration). This helps us improve the platform. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Your Control

You have full control over your data:

• Clear your browser data to remove all stored compositions
• Export your projects as JSON for backup
• Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share or export it
